The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) has awarded Cathy Crudden the highest value Discovery Grant in Canada this year. Dr. Crudden and her team will work to discover the implications of carbon-to-metal bonds by analyzing films 100,000 times thinner than a human hair.
