Dr. Philip Jessop, Head of the Department of Chemistry, has been elected as a fellow of the Chemical Institute of Canada (CIC), one of the highest honours bestowed by the institute.
Fellowship in the CIC is a distinguished class of membership that recognizes individuals who have made and continue to make major contributions to the profession of chemistry, chemical engineering and chemical technology. His appointment as a fellow reflects sustained excellence, leadership and impact within the chemical sciences community.
Dr. Jessop will be formally presented with his fellowship at the 2026 Canadian Societies for Chemistry and Chemical Engineering conference and exhibition (May 2026)
