Dr. Oleschuk was one of 10 Queen's researchers in a group led by Dr. Cathy Crudden to receive a grant from the Collaborative REsearch And Training Experience program at NSERC. The grant is worth $1.59 million over the next 6 years and will focus on the development of novel chiral materials. A mandate of the CREATE program is to strengthen international collaborations and train personnel.Embedded Systems Canada (emSysCan) receives a CFI grant | March 2010
Dr. Oleschuk is part of the emSysCan group led by Ian McWalter of CMC Microsystems that recently received a grant from the Canadian Foundation for Innovation (CFI) for the development of microsystems. The contribution to Queen's will be in the form of a $1.7 million facility for the rapid prototyping of microdevices, including microfluidic lab-on-a-chip devices.
