How to Join Our Group
The group size is limited to seven (7) full-time researchers, including Dr. Jerkiewicz
To provide quality education and training, and to offer excellent research infrastructure, the number of full-time graduate students is limited to four (4), and the number of postdoctoral fellows and/or visiting faculty to two (2)
We accept one (1) research-driven and highly motivated chemistry undergraduate student every year as a summer student or as a fourth-year project student
Candidates for graduate studies who want to join our Group should apply for admission through the School of Graduate Studies and Research (follow the link on the Departmental website)
Individuals who want to apply for graduate fellowships, postdoctoral fellowships, or visiting fellowships with the objective of joining our Group should contact Dr. Jerkiewicz directly to discuss a suitable project and to obtain a support letter
Graduate Fellowship Profs. Gregory Jerkiewicz (Queen’s University, Canada) and Boniface Kokoh (Université de Poitiers, France) seek an outstanding candidate to pursue Ph.D. studies on a joint project in the field of hydrogen electrochemistry and electroanalytical chemistry. The successful candidate will be registered at the Université de Poitiers and will carry out the research at both institutions, with a majority of the work conducted at Poitiers. Financial support: ca. EUR 96,000 over 3 years Requirements: (i) Master’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering; (ii) background in basic or applied electrochemistry or electroanalytical chemistry; and (iii) excellent command of English and basic knowledge of French.
