The Jessop Group welcomes Michael Chernoff! October 2, 2009 Michael Chernoff, Chernoff Hall benefactor, dropped by the Jessop Lab to take a look at some of the most recent chemistry going on. Ying Lau and Darrell Dean of the Jessop group win TA Awards for their efforts during the 2008-2009 academic year.

Jessop Group members win TA Awards September 21, 2009 Congratulations to Darrell Dean and Ying Lau who were both awarded TA awards for their work during the 2008-2009 academic year. Teaching assistants who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to the education of undergraduate students are honored by the Department or the University through TA teaching awards. TA's are nominated for the awards by their students and/or course supervisors. Darrell was awarded the Merck Frosst Teaching Assistant Award for 1st Year A&S and APSC Tutorials, and Ying the William Patrick Doolan Teaching Assistant Award for 1st Year Chemistry Laboratory.
