Survey of Environmental Chemistry
Welcome to CHEM 326 for Winter 2010
CLARIFICATION OF DATES AND ASSIGNMENTS:
• The written report of Assignment 3 is
due at the start of class on March 30th, 2010.
• The presentations of Assignment 3 will
be during class time on April 5, 6, and 8, in order of group (or
transformation) number. i.e. groups 1, 2, 3, and 4 will present
on April 5th.
• Presentations must be no longer than
10 minutes, plus 2 minutes for changeover to the next group.
Each route should have two slides and show the equation, the
experimental description, and Table 3 (Indexes). In addition,
each group should present one slide for Table 4. Tables 3 and 4
should be coloured. Save your group presentation as a PDF file
and send it to me by email well before class. You won't be
using your own computer for the presentation, because it takes
too long to switch computers.
• Assignment 4 is due at the start of
class on April 8th.
• The class on April 1st is intended for
finishing up the last slides of chapter 11 (if any), followed by
your questions about the assignments, the exam, or green
chemistry in general.
